Breeze Creative partnered with Chapters Health System to bring interactive technology into a therapeutic setting at the Bethany Center for Grieving Children in Lakeland, Florida. Operated by Good Shepherd Hospice, the center provides grief counseling and emotional support for children, teens, and families navigating the loss of a loved one. The organization's mission is to create a compassionate, welcoming environment where children feel safe expressing their emotions while receiving the support they need during an incredibly difficult time.

 

To enhance the therapeutic experience, Breeze Creative installed interactive projection technology that was thoughtfully integrated into counseling sessions and everyday activities throughout the center. Rather than serving solely as entertainment, the interactive experiences encourage movement, creativity, and emotional expression in a way that feels natural and inviting. The technology helps reduce anxiety, eases children into therapy sessions, and serves as an effective icebreaker between counselors and young visitors. Through interactive play, children are able to engage with their environment while building comfort and trust in a supportive setting.

 

The immersive experiences also help transform the center into a calming, child-friendly space where families feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. By incorporating interactive technology into the healing process, the Bethany Center provides children with another outlet for communication, creativity, and self-expression while supporting the important work of its counselors and staff.
