Breeze Creative partnered with San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to help create a more inclusive travel experience through the installation of Quantum Space inside the airport's dedicated Sensory Room. Designed to support neurodivergent travelers and their families, the calming space provides a peaceful environment where passengers can relax, decompress, and prepare for their journey before boarding. As one of only a handful of airports in the United States to offer a dedicated sensory room, SFO continues to lead the way in creating accessible, passenger-focused experiences for travelers of all abilities.
As part of this initiative, Breeze Creative designed and installed Quantum Space, an immersive interactive wall experience that responds to movement with calming digital visuals. Rather than focusing on games or competition, the installation creates a soothing atmosphere where gentle motion and responsive artwork encourage relaxation and sensory engagement. The experience gives travelers a quiet moment to pause, explore, and interact with their surroundings in a way that promotes comfort while reducing stress and overstimulation before entering a busy airport environment.
The Sensory Room reflects the growing importance of designing public spaces that support a wide range of sensory and accessibility needs.
