Breeze Creative partnered with LaGuardia Airport to design, develop, fabricate, and install a custom Draw Alive® experience as part of the airport's award-winning Terminal B redevelopment. Located in the children's play area in Concourse B, the interactive installation transforms waiting time into a fun, creative experience where young travelers can explore aviation through hands-on digital play. As one of the first interactive attractions introduced during the airport's historic renovation, the installation helps create a more engaging and family-friendly travel experience for millions of passengers each year.
Designed exclusively for LaGuardia Airport, the custom Draw Alive® experience invites children to color their own airplanes before scanning their artwork to watch it take flight across a stunning digital New York City skyline. The attraction features five interactive drawing stations connected to an impressive 16-screen video wall, allowing multiple children to participate simultaneously. As each aircraft appears on the large display, families gather to watch their personalized creations taxi down the runway and soar through the city, creating memorable moments before boarding their flights.
The success of this installation demonstrated how interactive technology can transform airport waiting areas into destinations for creativity and exploration. By encouraging hands-on participation, the attraction provides children with an engaging activity while giving parents a comfortable space where families can spend quality time together. The popularity of the project ultimately led Breeze Creative to develop a second custom Draw Alive® installation for LaGuardia Airport's Concourse A, further expanding the airport's family-friendly interactive experiences.
This project showcases Breeze Creative's expertise in creating interactive technology for airports, transportation hubs, museums, children's play areas, and public attractions. From custom-themed Draw Alive® installations to fully immersive interactive environments, we help public spaces improve the visitor experience through creativity, storytelling, and engaging digital technology. The original aviation-themed experience created for LaGuardia Airport has since become one of our standard Draw Alive® themes, allowing airports and attractions around the world to bring the excitement of flight to their own visitors.

This interactive Draw Alive engages children and adults alike, giving everyone a chance to design and deploy their own aircraft into the NYC skyline. The area features five tablets and a large video wall consisting of 16 screens. Travelers can color their selected aircraft, scan it into the virtual NYC world, and wait with anticipation as it takes off along the runway. Breeze is honored to have produced this interactive wall mural that now serves as a purposeful children's play area at a New York landmark.
